1. Agreement

By creating an account or using FreelaMe ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

FreelaMe is a web-based platform for freelancers to create and send invoices, manage contracts, track expenses, and accept payments. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate information during registration
  • One account per person - do not share accounts
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Subscription & Payment

  • FreelaMe is offered on a subscription basis
  • New accounts receive a free trial period as indicated during sign-up
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent invoices or contracts
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to spam or harass others

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights in the FreelaMe platform, including software, design, and branding, are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreelaMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your Billing settings. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, we will retain financial records as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
